Hallam Choral Society is open to all, and is particularly keen to hear from prospective new members with previous experiance of choral singing.

Membership of Hallam Choral Society offers you:

The opportunity to perform at least four times a year with professional soloists, and quality orchestras and accompanists.
The opportunity to perform a varied repertoire of old favourites and more unusual repertoire.
Relaxed and fun rehearsals with a professional voice trainer who can help you get the best out of your voice.
The opportunity to meet new like minded people.
Great value for money - this is one of the least expensive choirs to join in the whole of South Yorkshire.

Cost

Your first term with the choir is free (subject to becoming a member of HCYA) and then £15 per term, or £45 annually (subject to annual review).

Young Singers Policy

Hallam Choral Society understands that if we are to keep choral singing alive, we need to attract new members.

Through this policy we have the opportunity to prove to young people that singing in a choir is a great thing to do, and that Hallam Choral Society is the choir to be part of!

Hallam Choral Society offers any new singers under the age of 30, three full years' membership of the choir (subject to becoming a member of HCYA), currently a saving of £45 per year, a total saving of £135.

Rehearsals

We meet every Monday at Hallam Community Hall which is within the grounds of Hallam Campus, Hallam Grange Crescent, Fulwood Sheffield S10 4BD, with a final rehearsal before a concert usually in the venue itself.
